Melissa Teng (she/they) is DS4SI’s Design Research Lead. Melissa is an Artist-in-Residence with the City of Boston’s Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture, as well as a writer and designer. She works across a variety of media and scales, always interested in how people come together to bend the world around them. She often uses participatory design, research, and storytelling methods.
The Design Studio for Social Intervention (DS4SI) partners with communities, artists, and social justice practitioners to imagine, demonstrate, and collectively rebuild places to be more just and vibrant.
