Mapping Public Infrastructures

This two-part workshop will play with map-making as an artistic and political storytelling medium, as well as introduce “public infrastructure mapping” as a way to see how places support community-building and public-making. This workshop will experiment with a multitude of sensory materials and create individual and collaborative maps. We are inspired to bring together artists, storytellers, community members–humans to share and visualize how we each move through the world and explore maps as portals that connect us to each other.

This class will be held on 05/01 & 05/08 at the Design Gym (7 Ramsey Street in Upham's Corner) from 6-8pm.
